Let me see, bad things first: On Thursday I had a wisdom tooth pulled, top left hand one. It was brutal thing to go through. Got three needles, first two weren't that bad, didn't even feel them going in. Third one was the worst. All I got told is 'You're gonna feel a lot of pressure.' Well, not quite sure where he jammed that thing but that was worse than the actual tooth getting pulled. As far as the actual tooth pulling went. I didn't feel a thing. I did hear some cracking and then it was done. Kinda cringed upon hearing it. Beyond that jaw was just sore for two or three days. Following the tooth getting pulled I did was any pirate would have done. I found a bottle of rum and drank my nerves better.
I also got really addicted to a band called Alestorm. It was mostly because of Swashbuckle I learned these guys existed, and Alestorm embarrasses Swashbuckle. Alestorm has produced the best pirate music ever. Not too much to say here. Just figured I would mention this because someone might need a new band to listen too.
Also last night I got to see Flogging Molly live. This was one of the most amazing shows I've ever seen. They had such an amazing energy. Can't say that for the opening acts. Don't know who those two bands were. Don't really care. We drank through them. They sucked. Flogging Molly though, amazing stuff. Quite a few surprises in that set. Like 'The Son Never Shines', 'The Wrong Company'(It's 36 seconds long so I didn't expect it), and that mostly accoustic cover of 'The Black Friday Rule', he played half of it accoustic and then the rest of the band came back and they played the other half normally. As for the rest of the set, I got to drink beer to some of my favorite songs (Nothing else to do, lack of a mosh pit.), like 'Rebels of the Sacred Heart', 'The Devils Dance Floor', and the pirate songs. Suffice to say by the end of it I was pretty much wrecked. It was worth it though. Other than some minor complaints, like lack of a mosh pit, and a complete lack of Guinness. I was not happy about that in the least little bit. What kinda seedy joint doesn't have the stuff? Salt in the wound, band seemed to have an over abundance of it. Yes I had to bitch about the lack of Guinness. Anyways, show was epic, that's all that matters.
And I think that wraps up this journal.
I'm too lazy to find a song here, so I'm gonna post a Psych quote and call it a night:
Shawn: When are you seeing this blind chick?
Gus: Gloria can't see me.
Shawn: Dude, I know how being blind works.
Yeah, as for me I hocked my brains, packed my bags and headed west.
